THE GOLDEN AGE OF OCEAN LINERS
We are delighted to announce that on the Saturday afternoon we will be joined by Greg Votolato. Greg has a well deserved reputation as an excellent speaker.
He is a Course Director at the Victoria & Albert Museum and a tutor at the Royal College of Art.
With his background as an architect, curator, teacher and writer on design, he will introduce us to The Golden Age of Ocean Liners – which he sees as the period between 1900 and 1960.
Greg will introduce us to the evolution of design styles during that time.
A talk that will appeal at many levels – and providing, no doubt, a dose of nostalgia!
(NOTE: This event will be held in the Upper Room at Lavenham Village Hall. The only access is via a staircase)
