Programme of Events
During the week leading up to the Festival weekend, we are pleased to be arranging for a children’s author to visit Lavenham Community Primary School and spend a day working with the children.
Each of the listings for the Festival weekend is covered in more detail in the following pages of this brochure. Events in Lavenham Village Hall, unless stated otherwise.
FRIDAY 17 NOVEMBER
(5 pm) Charles Abel-Smith in Lavenham Guildhall, Market Square
(7 pm onwards) Simon Barnes at the Festival Dinner in The Swan Hotel, High Street
SATURDAY 18 NOVEMBER
(10.30 am – 4 pm) Creative Writing Course with ‘Wild Words’ in The Swan Hotel

(2.15 pm) Greg Votolato – PLEASE NOTE: This event will be held in the Upper Room at Lavenham Village Hall. The only access is via a staircase.

Teas, coffees and light refreshments provided by the Friends of Lavenham Library will be available for purchase at the Village Hall between sessions.
All proceeds will be used to support Lavenham Library.
Books of the authors appearing at the Festival will be available to purchase from the Waterstones stall and there will be opportunities for book signing.
